Apple of the Is

After seeing the immense public outburst and reaction over Steve's death, there's no second thought that the man had a great following even in countries like India. Of course, most of the people would not have owned/used an Apple product here, but the reaction comes from the magic that his ideas have woven that inspired millions of people all over the world.

According to Wozniak's autobiography, iWoz, Jobs had the idea to sell the computer as a fully assembled PCB. Wozniak, at first skeptical, was later convinced by Jobs that even if they were not successful they could at least say to their grandkids they had had their own company! [Souce wiki :D] It is such ideas that create revolutions, that would leave a mark on many generations to come..

I had attended a concert by Jagjit ji earier this year and I am a big fan of the charm that his voice and ghazals conjure.. A maestro, the baritone marked an era of exquisite ghazal singing..

N Ahh, Dennis Ritchie, I would say he was a technology forefather, having created a language that later on went to write miracles...

the voids that they left in the entrepreneurial, technological and ghazal fraternities probably can never be filled..

Quoting some lines by Saqib Lakhnavi I read:
"Bade shauq se sun raha tha zamana
Hum hi so gaye dastaan kehte kehte.."
